Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Angren Pipe Plant of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine (AGMK) installed solar panels, the press service of AGMK said.
AGMK said that it purchased 51 sets of solar panels for heating water from one of Uzbek companies. Total area of the solar panels makes up 117.3 square meters.
The solar panels will be used to heating water. The company noted that installation of panels was started in March and after testing they were commissioned in June.
Each day each solar collector can heat up to 150 liters of water up to 70-75 degrees, which is used in kitchen, bathrooms, etc.
AGMK said that the panels will be used from March to October and they will help to save up to 116,500 cubic meters of gas a year. The panels can be used for 20 years.
