Kentaro Sonoura says he will do his best to develop relations between Uzbekistan and Japan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Parliamentary Deputy Foreign Minister of Japan Kentaro Sonoura is paying visit to Uzbekistan. Jahon news agency interviewed Japanese official on goals of the visit and Uzbek-Japanese relations.
He said that he arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in signing ceremony of exchange notes on Jupiter project in electricity sector. Kentaro Sonoura noted that Japan and Uzbekistan are friendly states and he believes that perspectives of relations, especially in economic sphere, are great.
Japanese official said that improving infrastructure and system of border control are important directions of strengthening trade-economic relations between two nations. These will boost transport flow and external trade as a whole.
He noted that Japan has great experience and skills in these areas and the country is ready to share it. Sonoura added that along with equipment supply, Japan is ready to provide consultative and education, as well as technical assistance.
