Euronews starts to broadcast advert about Uzbekistan

Euronews channel started to broadcast a 30-second advertisement about tourism potential of Uzbekistan from 12 December 2013, the press-service of Uzbektourism national company said.
This will be logic continuation of wide-scale work directed at promoting rich historic and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan abroad, including European states, which is conducted in cooperation with Euronews.
Euronews broadcast news, cultural, scientific and other programmes in 155 countries of the world in 12 languages.
In the first stage of this work, it was planned to broadcast TV programmes about historic centers of Uzbekistan – Samarkand, Shahrisabz, Bukhara and Khiva. Two programmes about Samarkand and Shahrisabz, as well as Bukhara were shown in October-November. In December, it is planned to broadcast programme about Khiva.
Uzbektourism and Euronews outlined main directions of cooperation during t he talks, held in Tashkent in July 2013.
The advertisement was developed by specialists of Euronews, Austrian RocketMediaCommunications and Uzbektourism.
The advertisement will help to promote tourism potential of Uzbekistan among 370 million viewers of Euronews and should assist to increase tourists inflow to historic cities of Uzbekistan.
