Boeing delivers 767-300ER airplane to Uzbekistan Airways

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The US-based Boeing delivered a 767-300ER (extended range) to Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) on 16 May 2013.
Boeing delivered the third 767-300ER airplane to Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, which ordered four airplanes of this model in 2008. The company delivered two airplanes in 2012, the Boeing said in a statement.
Valery Tyan, director-general of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, said that Central Asia is dynamically developing region with actively developing internal and external routes for businesses and travel. “Boeing 767-300ER is a proven aircraft, and its high efficiency, versatility and innovation play an important role in our expansion plans. We are already actively using 767 aircrafts on long-haul routes to Central Asia, the Far East and the U.S.,” he added.
Marty Bentrott, Vice President for Sales in Middle East, Russia & Central Asia Boeing Commercial Airplanes, said that Uzbekistan Havo Yollari is a reliable customer and partner of Boeing in Central Asia. He said that selection of Boeing 767-300ER airplane for expansion of the activities of the airline is a sign of confidence to product of Boeing. He expressed hope that the sides will continue effective cooperation.
The Boeing 767 family is a complete family of quiet, fuel-efficient airplanes that provide maximum market versatility in the 200- to 300-seat market. Boeing has delivered more than 1,000 767s that are flown by more than 120 operators worldwide.
