Uzbekistan to host conference on habitation construction

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will host an international conference titled “Modern housing construction as a driving force of comprehensive development and transformation of rural areas, enhancing the living standards of population” on 16-17 April 2013.
The conference is aimed at familiarizing and discussing programmes on accomplishment of population points and construction of individual houses on standard projects in rural areas as priority direction and important condition for cardinal transformation of rural areas, complex social-economic development of territories, as well as increasing employment and income of population.
The conference will be attended by about 250 representatives of international organizations from over 50 countries.
The conference will allow its participants to familiarize with achievements of Uzbekistan in development of economy, industry, agriculture, social, cultural and science sectors, as well as in small and private business, improvement of habitation conditions of population in rural areas, their employment, etc.
The conference will discuss legal foundation and measures of state support of construction of habitation on standard projects in rural areas, terms, preferences and benefits of attracting foreign investments for construction of habitation and infrastructure objects in rural areas.
The participants will also discuss modern construction of houses in rural areas to speed up development of construction sector and industrial production, development of services to improve prosperity of population, etc.
The participants will visit houses on standard projects, which were constructed in rural areas, familiarize with social sector, development of small and private businesses in the regions of Uzbekistan, Jahon news agency reported.
