London-2012: Ikhtiyor Navruzov to fight for bronze medal
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Freestyle wrestler Ikhtiyor Navruzov of Uzbekistan will fight for bronze medals of London Olympic Games in the weight category of 66 kg.
In his first bout Ikhtiyor Navruzov defeated Georgia’s Otar Tushishvili with the score 3-1. In the second he lost to Sushil Kumar from India.
Sushil Kumar reached the final of competitions and in the result Ikhtiyor Navruzov received right to participate in bouts for bronze medal.
Ikhtiyor Navruzov will carry out first bout against Ramazan Sahin of Turkey. If he wins bout, he will face Kazakhstan’s Akjurek Tanatarov.
