The tendency of stable growth of GDP real volume is retained, and its growth in the current period was 8.3% versus 8% in January-September 2009.
In the structure of GDP by forms of ownership, the share of the non-state sector was 81.7% (in January-September 2009 – 80.4%) and the state sector – 18.3% (in January-September 2009 – 19.6%).
The share of small business in the total volume of GDP comprised 48.5%, which is 3.4 percentage points higher than in the corresponding period of 2009.
The committee said the share of small enterprises and microfirms was 27.4% in January-September 2010 versus 26.5% in January-September 2009.
The significant growth of the real volume of gross regional product was observed in Namangan region (12.5%), Samarkand region (12.4%), Syrdarya region (11.5%), Surkhandarya region (10.2%) and Tashkent city (10.9%).
