Sixth international music festival "Sharq Taronalari" ("Oriental Melodies") continues in Samarkand, UzA reported.

Singers, musicians and dancers from 51 countries are participating in the event, which started on 27 August.

The festival participants are performing their programs at the Registan square, in the parks and halls of the city.

The foreign guests familiarized with the 2750-year-old Samarkand’s historical monuments and modern objects built during the years of independence.
