Uzbekistan increase cotton-fiber output by 2.8% in Jan-Jun

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased production of cotton-fiber by 2.8% year-on-year in January-June 2010 to 638,642 tonnes.

Production of cotton yarn grew by 49%to 98,374 tonnes and cotton fabrics rose by 14.9% to 43.666 million square meters.
