Entrepreneurs from India and Bangladesh visit Fergana Valley

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, a delegation from India and Bangladesh, representing the textile and pharmaceutical industry, the health sector and specializing in logistics and other services, arrived in Uzbekistan.

A group of foreign entrepreneurs visited the Namangan region on 5-6 April and Andijan region on 7-8 April.

In particular, during the visit, foreign entrepreneurs held fruitful negotiations with khokims of Namangan and Andijan regions. In addition, members of the delegation visited the industrial enterprises of the regions and got acquainted with the created conditions.

In Namangan region, preliminary agreements were reached on the construction of a modern hospital and the implementation of joint projects in the textile industry. In Andijan region, the current state of joint projects in the established Uzbek-Indian free economic zone "Andijan-farm" was discussed, as well as plans for the future.

The visit of the delegation to Uzbekistan continues. It should be noted that in a few days another group of Indian businessmen are expected to visit Andijan and Namangan regions.
