Uzbekneftegaz signs a protocol of intent to establish a joint venture with SOCAR

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekneftegaz JSC is taking part in an exhibition and conference held as part of the Baku Energy Week.

Within the framework of the forum, a meeting was held between the management of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the President of the State Oil and Gas Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan SOCAR Rovshan Najaf.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the current state of the implementation of joint projects, as well as promising areas of cooperation.

In particular, the possibility of conducting joint exploration and production of oil and gas, constant exchange of experience and advanced training of employees in various areas was considered.

Taking into account the high qualification of SOCAR specialists in the oil and gas industry, the Azerbaijani side was invited to participate in the supervising of drilling and seismic exploration works of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of the project for the joint organization of trading operations. As a result of the meeting, the parties signed a Protocol of Intentions to establish a trading joint venture.

It should be noted that the International Exhibition and Conference "Oil and Gas of the Caspian" - "Caspian Oil & Gas 2023" is a recognized platform for establishing large-scale cooperation in the oil and gas and energy sectors.

Uzbekneftegaz JSC, at the invitation of a long-term partner, SOCAR, takes part in this event with its stand.
