Persons with disabilities are reimbursed for part of the costs of acquiring a land plot through an auction

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for reimbursement of expenses of a person with a disability and a family that includes a person with a disability related to the acquisition of a land plot through an electronic online auction.

According to the Regulation, based on the cost of acquiring a land plot through an auction, a lump-sum payment of up to 100 sizes of basic estimated value (up to 30 million soums) is allocated, regardless of the number of persons with disabilities in the family.

At the same time, in cases where expenses exceed this amount, up to sizes of basic estimated value (up to 30 million soums) are also reimbursed.

Beneficiaries must meet the following criteria:

the absence of a dwelling or a land plot intended for residence in one’s own name or the name of family members, acquired within the last 12 months;

the land plot was acquired through an auction in the last 3 months and is located on the territory of Uzbekistan;

be recognized as a person with a disability, as well as being in one of the notebooks: "Iron Notebook", "Women’s Notebook", "Youth Notebook".

A person with a preferential category must apply to the district (city) department of employment and poverty reduction in his region within 3 months from the date of purchase of a land plot through an auction (applications submitted later than this period are not considered).

At the same time, within 5 working days after the decision on the allocation of funds is made in accordance with the established procedure, the funds are transferred to the bank account of the plastic card indicated in the application of the persons of the privileged category.
