Explosion occurred at mosque in Kabul
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An explosion occurred in a mosque located next to the new building of the Afghan Ministry of Internal Affairs in the government formed by the radical Taliban movement (a terrorist organization banned in Russia), Al Jazeera reported.
According to the publication, as a result of the attack at least 25 people were killed. Several dozen more citizens were injured. Most of the victims were taken to hospitals in the Afghan capital. Taliban Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi confirmed the explosion and promised to investigate the incident.
On 30 September, it was reported that an explosion at an educational center in western Kabul killed 20 people. Then at least 35 citizens were injured. Sources in the Afghan Taliban government claimed that the bombing was carried out by a suicide bomber.
