Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 May this year, the leadership of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade led by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Ministers Laziz Kudratov and Shukhrat Vafaev visited the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to express condolences on the death of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the conversation with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Uzbekistan Saeed Matar Sultan AlSiri AlQemzi, the outstanding achievements of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the development of the UAE as one of the most dynamically developing states in the world, which demonstrated a unique example of breakthrough growth in a short period, were noted time.
It was emphasized that during the presidency of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE were given new dynamics, which made it possible to bring them to a qualitatively new level.
In turn, the head of the UAE diplomatic mission expressed deep gratitude for the support and readiness to continue developing large-scale bilateral cooperation in all areas.
