Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 2 December 2021, citizen D.O. appealed to the internal affairs authorities and reported that on 27 August 2021, an unknown person, using his trust, promised to purchase cement products, received US$7,000, but did not fulfill his word. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Ferghana region.

On this fact, the investigation department at the Department of Internal Affairs of Tashlak district initiated a criminal case under paragraph "a" of part 2 of article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the course of operational-search measures, it was established that the crime was committed by M.T., and an investigation is underway. Please be aware that fraud may result in criminal liability under the law.

A person who has committed the above crime may be sentenced to imprisonment for up to five years.
