Yandex Go starts operations in Andijan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Yandex Go, a taxi service, started its operations in Andijan.
The users can order a car via downloading application, open it and indicate where they need to go. The service itself determines the position of the user when geolocation is on and finds the driver who will arrive the fastest.
The cost of travel starts from 2500 soums. For example, getting from the Uzbegim shopping center to the Bogishamol hotel will cost about 4,100 soums, from the railway station to the Alisher Navoi park - about 4,700 soums. This is the most lucrative offer in the city.
“This is the fifth city in Uzbekistan where Yandex Go has appeared. Residents of Andijan now cannot waste time on calls and explanations of where the driver needs to drive. You just need to enable your location in the settings, and the service itself will determine the delivery address. The application also shows all the necessary information, for example, which car will arrive, where it is now, when it is time to leave,” comments Tamirlan Shapiev, Executive Director of Yandex Go for Central Asian Markets Development.
Users in Andijan can see the exact price of the trip in the application at the time of ordering a car - just enter the address of the destination. The price does not change, even if the driver had to deviate from the route due to road repairs. You can pay for the trip in cash.
The service has a support service that works without weekends and holidays. If the user has forgotten a thing in the car or wants to ask a question, you can contact the support service through the application.
Yandex Go uses its own technologies: maps, routing, navigation, smart order distribution system. It is technology that makes travel more accessible for users and at the same time provides drivers with decent earnings.
Yandex Go was launched in Uzbekistan in April 2018. In addition to Andijan, today the service also operates in Tashkent, Ferghana, Margilan and Namangan. Yandex Go does not have its own drivers and cars. The service cooperates with local carriers. The free application is available for iOS and Android in Uzbek, Russian and many other languages.
