South Korean partners to provide Uzbekistan with a batch of reusable protective masks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting with senior researchers from the South Korea Health Industry Development Institute Pak Jong Min and Jang Kyung-hun was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul, Dunyo news agency reported.
During the conversation, Park Jong Min said that the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) is part of the Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Republic of Korea. KHIDI specialists actively participated in various socially significant projects in Uzbekistan, implemented under the "Official Development Assistance" program of the South Korean government. In particular, KHIDI experts acted as consultants on the construction project of the National Children’s Medical Center in Tashkent.
It was noted that the National Children’s Medical Center has become a symbol of friendship between the two states.
Park Jong Min said that STEK Co., Ltd. will provide the National Children’s Medical Center with reusable protective face masks in the amount of 2,000 units as humanitarian aid in the fight against coronavirus infection. This cargo will be sent to Uzbekistan in August 2020 by a flight of Uzbekistan Airways.
