A man diagnosed with COVID-19 dies in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 1 July, 65-year-old V.M. (male) was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Ibn Sina City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in critical condition and was connected to a ventilator.
He was diagnosed with hypertension, atherosclerosis, recurrence of an acute cerebrovascular accident (stroke) (the first case occurred in June 2020), hemorrhagic stroke.
The patient consulted with the chief specialists of the Ministry of Health in a number of areas and the doctors of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medicine, and was under constant supervision.
The patient was under the constant supervision of resuscitation doctors. However, despite the efforts, on 3 July, the man died from pulmonary thromboembolism, acute respiratory and heart failure.
