Book about Uzbek flat bread to be published in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Uzbek dastarkhan cannot be imagined without freshly baked traditional flat bread. National bread, like pilaf, is the intangible cultural heritage of our people, since it also has its own history. Tourists visiting Uzbekistan always appreciate the taste of Uzbek bread and often take it with them.
The famous Uzbek cook Bahriddin Chustiy wrote and prepared for publication a book about the famous Uzbek bread. National bread is baked in each region of Uzbekistan in its own way. Therefore, Bahriddin traveled to the regions of the country to further enrich his knowledge in the field of recipes and cooking technologies for Uzbek cakes and put them into one book.
According to Chusty, the book contains recipes for more than 50 types of bread and 10 dishes, in the preparation of which it is used. “Among them there are long-forgotten recipes, there are familiar to all traditional, as well as new - experimental. The book contains all the information about the culture and traditions of making bread and dishes from it, tandoor, chekiche and about everything related to the tortilla,” said the cook.
Initially, the book will be published in Uzbek, later it is planned to publish versions in Russian, English and Turkish. A large team of professionals worked on preparing a book about an Uzbek cake for publication.
To date, the book is almost ready for printing and will soon be published. It is worth noting that this publication will serve to further popularize the gastronomic culture of Uzbekistan and, undoubtedly, will contribute to the development of gastronomic tourism.
