Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - Uzbekistan produced more than 271,110 cars in January-December 2019, which is 22.86% higher compared to the same period of 2018.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks increased by 25.56% in the reporting period - up to 5,320 units.

In the automotive industry, in January-December 2019, 73,151 Nexia cars were produced (growth rates were 23.3% compared to the same period of 2018), 56,211 Cobalt vehicles (+ 49.4%), 51,824 - Damas (+ 49.7%), 44 508 - Gentra (+ 33.6%), 24 249 - Spark (-16.6%), 7 930 - Tracker, 7 288 - Labo (-1.3%) and 5 944 - Malibu (-10.3%).

The production of automobile engines in Uzbekistan in January-December 2019 reached 200,600. The growth compared to January-December 2018 was 26.4%.
