Yandex is shooting panoramas of Samarkand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 November, representatives of the well-known Russian company Yandex arrived in Samarkand to familiarize themselves with the tourism potential, the press service of the tourism development department of the Samarkand region reports.
The guests got acquainted with the sights of the city by visiting the mausoleum of Amir Timur, Registan Square, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, the Shahi-Zinda complex, the Ulugbek Observatory, etc. On these architectural objects, the group carried out shooting work to further develop a panoramic design of the city's streets, including historical objects.
The project of the Yandex film crew is aimed at further presentation of Samarkand's tourist sites on Yandex.ru electronic resources, which are in great demand in the CIS countries.
