Russian Foreign Minister to visit Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to visit Uzbekistan in early May. This was announced by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova during a briefing.
According to her, Sergey Lavrov will visit Uzbekistan from 2 to 3 May 2019.
During the visit, the Russian Foreign Minister will hold meetings with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov.
During the meetings, the sides will analyze the implementation of large-scale agreements, which were reached following the results of the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan.
The parties will exchange views on bilateral cooperation, regional and international issues, including the situation in Afghanistan.
