Uzbekistan Airways directs second Boeing-787 Dreamliner aircraft for scheduled maintenance

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National airline Uzbekistan Airways sent the second Boeing-787 Dreamliner aircraft for scheduled maintenance and modification.
The airline noted that it continues to perform flights that meet international standards. All aircraft in the fleet of Uzbekistan Airways regularly undergo routine inspection and modification, during which the aircraft are removed from flights.
To ensure a high level of safety of the National Airline’s flights, these procedures also apply to new aircraft, including the Boeing-787 Dreamliner.
As previously reported, one of the National Airline Dreamliners was sent for scheduled maintenance and modification, upon completion of which a second aircraft of the same type was sent for similar procedures.
“In order to avoid the dissemination of incorrect information and speculations about the fleet of Boeing-787 Dreamliner, Uzbekistan Airways will organize a briefing with the participation of representatives of Boeing and General Electric companies. Representatives of the manufacturers of this type of aircraft and its engines will give detailed answers to all questions that arise,” the airline noted.
