Altaivagon to deliver a large batch of cars to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In November, under a contract with the Uzbek logistics company Cotton Logistics Company AG, Altaivagon produced 40 cars of model 11-2135-01.
The Altai enterprise for the first time produces such a large batch for the Central Asian country, and the Altai carriages will be the first private carriages assigned to the railway of Uzbekistan.
The agreement on supply of Altai cars was signed within the framework of the I Forum of interregional cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan with the participation of the heads of state held in Tashkent in October of this year, according to the Department of the Administration of the Governor and the Government of the Altai Territory on foreign relations and protocol.
Cotton Logistics is engaged in rail transportation to the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus. New cars are planned to be used for the transportation of grain, therefore, to the tightness of the body impose increased requirements. The Uzbek side needs covered wagons, platforms, hoppers. The specialists of the Cotton Logistics wagon farm emphasized that the inspection of the production of Altaivagon JSC left a positive impression on them: the wagons are easy to use, technologically advanced and reliable. The partners highlighted the customer focus of the Altai company.
Altaivagon will manufacture 200 covered wagons for its Uzbek partners. The first batch will ship in the near future. In December, Altaivagon will manufacture the second batch - 60 wagons.
In addition, within the framework of the forum, direct business contacts were established with the State Joint-Stock Railway Company Uzbekistan Temir Yollari, which controls the country’s railways and currently owns the entire freight car fleet of Uzbekistan. With the state company reached an agreement on the supply of spare parts (automatic coupling devices for rolling stock).
The total amount of contracts signed by Altaivagon JSC following the results of the forum, exceeded 850 million rubles.

Such a joint form of work of government and business allows us to achieve our goals to expand the presence of our plant in foreign markets.
