Uzbek delegation pays official visit to Bulgaria

On 10 July 2018, a delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Nodir Otajonov arrived in Sofia (the Republic of Bulgaria) for an official visit. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
The Uzbek delegation also includes Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade Sahib Saifnazarov, Deputy Chairman of Uztrade JSC and other representatives of subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.
The purpose of the visit is to expand trade and economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bulgaria and prepare for the fifth meeting of the Uzbek-Bulgarian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
During the stay in Sofia, the delegation of Uzbekistan plans to meet with the Minister of Agriculture, Agriculture and Forestry Rumen Porozhanov, the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Nikolay Nankov, as well as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Demographic Policy Valeri Simeonov.
The visit of the delegation will last until 13 July 2018.
