Uzbekistan to realize project to improve financial literacy of business entities, population

The Central Bank, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the non-governmental educational institution Norma Professional Rivojlanish Markazi and the International Finance Corporation signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties intend to join efforts in the field of increasing the financial literacy of business entities and the population in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This document is of great importance in raising the level of financial literacy of owners in rational and effective management with their own funds, the Central Bank said.
Within the framework of the project, round tables, conferences and seminars will be organized, which will address issues of increasing knowledge of protection and the rights of consumers of financial services.
