Trade turnover of UZSE makes up 72.8bn soums in Jan-Oct

Trade turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 72.8 billion soums in January-October 2017 compared to 198.1 billion soums in 10 months of 2016.
In the reporting period, the exchange recorded deals with 1.26 billion securities of 88 joint stock companies.
The Main Board of the UZSE recorded deals for 59.5 billion soums and for deals for individuals without clearing (NC Board) -0.1 billion soums, in the negotiation auction mode (Nego Board) - 0.2 billion soums on the securities market for foreign currency (FTC Market) in Main Board - US$1.95 million or 7.9 billion soums at the exchange rate of the Central Bank, as well as in the bond market (Bond Market) in Main Board - 2.0 billion soums, 3.1 billion soums in the section on sale of blocks of shares (block-trading).
The exchange said that 66% of deals or 48 billion soums fell to share of financial sector’s enterprises, including 60% or 43.7 billion soums – banks, 1.8% or 1.3 billion soums – insurance companies, 4.2% or 3.1 billion soums – leasing companies.
Share of the agro-industrial complex in total turnover made up 22.7% or 16.5 billion soums, industrial sector - 0.5% in the turnover of the exchange or 0.4 billion soums and enterprises in construction industry - 2.0% or 1.4 billion soums.
