President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures for further Development of the scientific and technical base in the field of agricultural engineering”.

The Center is created for developing scientific and technical potential in the field of agricultural machinery, conducting a unified scientific and technical and investment policy aimed at development of new types of agricultural machinery.

The center will carry out research and innovation work on applied issues of agricultural machinery, as well as develop new types of modern agricultural machinery for cultivating cotton, grain, vineyard, vegetable and melon crops, as well as other types of special equipment for resource-saving agriculture technologies.

Uzbek leader exempted the center from the payment of value-added tax, property tax and mandatory contributions to the Republican Road Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and to the off-budget Fund for the Development of the Material and Technical Base of Educational and Medical Institutions under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan till 1 January 2020.
