According to the decree, JSC Uztadbirkorexport was renamed into a specialized foreign trade company Uztrade.

Uztadbirkorexport was established in December 2015. The company assists small and private businesses (SPB), dehkan and farms in selling their products for export.

Uztadbirkorexport renders comprehensive assistance to small and private businesses in search and finding of buyers, certification and product registration in accordance with the requirements of a foreign buyer, registration of banking, customs and other documents.

Uztadbirkorexport actively works on developing electronic trading platform Uztrade, where domestic products put for sale .

The decision on rebranding the company was adopted to ensuring broad positioning of the company abroad, forming image of a reliable and stable company in foreign markets, expanding circle of foreign partners.

Uzbek leader also expanded the functions of Uztrade. The company will now study supply and demand in foreign markets and on this basis develop proposals for placing orders for the production of competitive products.

The company will carry out modern projects on production, storage and processing of products together with small business entities. It will also assist small business entities in product certification, holding promotional events, organizing their participation in international fairs and exhibitions, informational and consulting support for exporting products.

Uztrade will assist dekhkan and farmers in promotion of exported processed fruits and vegetables (except for fresh ones).

Enterprises belonging to Uztrade JSC will perform the functions of its regional operators (branches) in the regions of Uzbekistan and carry out consolidation of orders by purchasing products of small and private businesses and organize their centralized export.

One of the main tasks of Uztrade is to assist in promotion of products of small and private businesses in the regions of Uzbekistan.

Uztrade was entitled to export wheat and flour on consignment terms through the company’s trading houses abroad. The company can ship products on consignment terms to trading houses.
