CEC: About 16.61m voters cast votes in presidential elections
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
About 16.61 million voters from 20.429 registered voters cast their ballots in the elections of the President of Uzbekistan as of 18:00 of 4 December 2016.
According to the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan, the voter turnout in the presidential elections reached 81.03% from total number of voters.
Number of voted citizens exceeded 78% in all regions of Uzbekistan. The largest number of casted votes observed in Kashkadarya region – 83.77% and the lowest in Navoi region – 78.94%.
