Rio-2016: Uzbekistan tops general medal classification on boxing

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan clinched the first place in the general medal classification in boxing at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).

Boxers from Uzbekistan clinched seven medals at Olympic Games. Uzbek boxers bagged 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals of Olympics.

Cuba was the second in the general medal classification with 3 gold and 3 bronze medals.

France was third with six medals – 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
