Odil Akhmedov named as best football player in Uzbekistan

Midfielder of Russian club Krasnodar and Uzbekistan national team Odil Akhmedov has been named as the best football player of Uzbekistan in 2014.
Odil Akhmedov won in the result of the poll, which was conducted among journalists, the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
Pakhtakor manager Samvel Babayan won the award for the best coach of the year. Pakhtakor won the Uzbek league in 2014 under his guidance.
Temir Olimkhodjaev was named as the best coach of children football in 2014. Almalyk received a Fair Play award.
Referee Ravshan Irmatov was named as the best referee of Uzbekistan and his assistant Abduhamidullo Rasulov got an award “The best assistant referee of the year”.
Islom Kenjaboev from Nasaf was recognized as the best young player of 2014. Lokomotiv Tashkent’s Artur Yunusov was named as the best futsal player of 2014.
Artur Gevorkyan was named as the best goalscorer of the Uzbek league in 2014. Jamshid Iskanderov received an award “The best player of Uzbekistan football league”. Zebo Juraev was named as the best football player of 2014 among women.
