LUKOIL Uzbekistan completes construction of booster station at Khauzak field

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- LUKOIL Uzbekistan is completing construction-assembly and start-and-adjustment works of the booster station at Khauzak field.

Corporate paper of the Russian company, Neftyaniye Vedomosti, said that the main equipment were installed and assembly and hydraulic tests of pipes are underway. The assembly of cable platform and metal constructions are underway. The laying of the cable started.

The company said that some 450 people and 50 special equipments are operating at the construct site.

Specialists of MAN Diesel & Turbo, producer of centrifugal compressors, and TEGAS, supplier of nitric and air stations, are working at the construction site. Soon, some more specialists of MAN and Reynolds, supplier of cooling system, will arrive to the site.

Assembly works at gas separator field, flaring separator field, compressor shop and other fields are underway.

The exploitation personal was hired and underwent training abroad, including in Germany.

The paper said that such booster station will be used in Uzbekistan for the first time and will become an example of high technology introduction to oil and gas sector.
