Bukhara airport receives quality management certificate

Bukhara International Airport received international quality management certificate ISO 9001:2008.
The certificate has become the result of the effective work of the airport to introduce the quality management system and confirms the airport’s high potential to provide service to passengers, UzA reported.
The airport carried out wide-scale work to increase the level of service of planes and passengers, introduce new technologies and create required infrastructure.
The airport conducted work on accepting aircrafts of various modifications and serving passengers, which should increase number of flights to Bukhara, including transit ones.
The certificate will allow to expand cooperation of Bukhara airport with leading airlines of the worlds, the report said.
In 1999, Bukhara Airport received international status after implementation of modernization programme. The airport can process up to 150 passengers an hour.
Bukhara International Airport can receive all types of aircrafts, including those made in western and eastern countries.
